Sarah Hochhuth, M.A., L.L.P.
Executive Director of Tri Cities Ministries Counseling since 2004, Sarah Hochhuth is a Limited License Psychologist. A graduate of Western Michigan University and formerly a therapist in private practice, Sarah began working with TCM as a member of its panel of professional Christian therapists more than seven years ago.
In addition to her role as Executive Director of Tri Cities Ministries Counseling, Sarah is also an active volunteer in the community. Currently, Sarah is a member of the Operations Board for 2-1-1 of the Lakeshore, and is the co-chairperson of the 2007-08 United Way campaign for non-profits in Ottawa County. Previously she served for seven years as a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the board of directors of KinderKirk preschool and president of the Holmes Elementary School Parent Club.
Her contributions to the community have not gone unnoticed. Sarah was awarded the Outstanding Girl Scout Leader in 2004 by the Michigan Trails chapter of the Girls Scouts of America. She was also the recipient of the 2007 Out of the Box Award by the United Way of Greater Ottawa County and is a nominee for the 2007 Athena Award which will be presented by the Grand Haven Area Chamber of Commerce. This award is presented to an individual who has attained and personifies the highest level of professional excellence in her/his business or profession, has devoted time and energy to the community in a meaningful way, and most especially, has opened doors of leadership opportunity for women.
She is passionate about her role with TCM and making a positive impact in the Tri-Cities community. She believes in showing God’s love to others by meeting them wherever they may be in their spiritual life and assisting them unconditionally.
